    An unexpected Cymru daytrip

Today I missed my very first anything on this trip. Gen and I did not make our ferry this morning and although Gen thinks there is a connection between her and missing the boat, really we shoud've just checked when check in closed. Gen and I spent a fabulous 20 minutes in the ferry terminal knowing that our boat was just outside and that they weren't going to let us on. Luckily the weather is beautiful and we've been walking around listening to people actually speak welsh and sampling the delights of Holyhead. It is a nice little town with a 4th century roman fort(and an excellent internet cafe) but both food places we've visited have smelt absolutely rank (cigarettes and damp, we think). But as annoying as this was we've sorted everything out, we're into Dublin tonight and we've officially spent a day in Wales. Wales!

    Comments:
I hope you didn't make the mistake I did when a Welsh man spoke to me one day on the Isle of Whyte(Sp?)- I apologised and said I am sorry but I didn't speak German and Steve pointed out to me that he was speaking ENGLISH! Amazing how you can have a different experience than the one you expect. "Life is what happens between the planning"

oh, and cigarettes and damp is ironically the description of the aftershave i got for xmas last year.

Suzy! She lives! I didn't know the 5th season was out. Have you got the first of Grey's Anatomy too? Then we would possibly implode from jealousy and/or too much kinder chocolate. How's it going in Joga?

    Hello Gen and Liz
I hope this finds you in Ireland - not still wondering around Wales. Remember to note anything in Ireland you think I should go and see.

    Love Mum

We made it Ireland. We're in Ennis in fact, I think you should go to Galway Mum it's a great town:)

Suzy. Blue Water High season 2!

I know! I love that you get the whole kids show/couples/sexual tension thing. Actually that sounds a bit bad if you're not sure what we're talking about.
